Those looking for luxury in San Diego County will find a wide range of offerings – and prices
In San Diego County, sun, sea and sand will cost you anywhere from the high hundred- thousands to $76 million, depending on the slice of coastline you desire to call home sweet home.
An imaginary Mason-Dixon line divides California’s southernmost county, separating lower- priced, northern towns such as Carlsbad and Oceanside from higher-end areas closer to downtown San Diego, such as La Jolla and Del Mar. Robert Henderson of RE/MAX Associates of San Diego notes that a buyer can expect to pay between $3.5 million and $4 million for an oceanfront single-family home in North County, “but everything south of Oceanside is way higher,” he says.
